
Indonesia Strengthens Rupiah Through Direct Transactions with Chinese Yuan
The Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) has lauded Bank Indonesia's (BI) concrete steps to strengthen the rupiah. Notably, the Bilateral Currency Swap Arrangement (BCSA) with the Chinese Yuan and the expansion of Local Currency Transactions (LCT) with China and Hong Kong aim to reduce dependence on the US dollar.
