It is understood that two heavy weapon shells fell and exploded within Naung Yin Village due to the shelling, injuring two local residents, killing two cows, and injuring two other cows. Furthermore, some residential houses also sustained damage, as seen in photos received by Mizzima. Similarly, one heavy weapon shell fell and exploded towards Min Yarsanp Village, causing minor damage to some houses, although no residents were injured. "There are residents who have fled, and there are also a few who have returned. The warships are still in Phawngpyin town. They have not gone downstream or upstream. They seem to be waiting for those coming from upstream (warships)," said an official from the People's Defence Force in Phawngpyin Township, Mawkလိုက် District. On July 26, two villages in Phawngpyin Township were also attacked with heavy weapons by a military junta vessel.
