Army Troops Clash with NPA Rebels for Second Time in Abra

CAMP MELCHOR DELA CRUZ, Gamu, Isabela- Soldiers clashed with 10 alleged members of the New People’s Army during pursuit operations in Barangay Apao of the Abra town of Tineg on Monday morning, the military said. “The operation is ongoing as government troops continue to clear the area and ensure the safety and security of nearby communities,” said Army Major Eduardo Rarugal, chief of public affairs of the 5th Infantry Division on Monday.
