Cambodian Deputy Police Chief's Suicide Attributed to Chronic Illness by Authorities

In Kien Svay district, Kandal province, Cambodia, a deputy police chief in charge of anti-narcotics was found dead by suicide. The district police chief stated on the 10th that chronic insomnia due to illness was the cause, denying any foul play or work-related pressure.
