Vietravel Airlines Expands Domestic and China Routes

Vietravel Airlines is expanding its domestic and international flight routes. The airline currently operates routes connecting major economic and tourism hubs across Vietnam and is gradually expanding its international footprint. In addition to its domestic services, Vietravel Airlines has resumed its route linking Hanoi and Da Lat. On the international front, besides its scheduled services from Hanoi to Bangkok, Thailand, it launched charter flights between Hanoi and Lanzhou in China’s Gansu province on June 20. Furthermore, the airline has unveiled a plan to operate a direct flight route between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest economic hub, and Shenzhen, China, with services set to commence on August 15. This new route will connect Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City with Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX), meeting the growing demand for travel between the two markets for investment, trade, tourism, and visiting relatives. Vietnam remains a top priority for international corporations and buyers seeking new sources of supply, thanks to its 17 FTAs, stable investment environment, improving production capacity, and strategic location in Southeast Asia. The expansion of air routes is seen as part of Vietnam's economic growth strategy under its one-party system, aiming to strengthen international economic ties and boost trade and investment.
