Cambodia-Malaysia Collaboration Offers Free Surgery for Facial Deformities
In a collaborative effort between Cambodia and Malaysia, the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital will provide free surgical and medical treatment for individuals with facial deformities from July 19-23, 2026. The Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital, in collaboration with Smile Cambodia and the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM), will provide free surgical and medical treatment for individuals with facial deformities for five days. This initiative will take place from July 19 to July 23, 2026, at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. The services offered include treatment for patients with cleft lip/palate, burn injuries, and dental care. In addition to treating cleft patients, the mission will also provide care for burn victims, dental treatments related to speech therapy, and other facial deformities.
