President U Min Aung Hlaing Attends Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum

State Administration Council Chairman, Prime Minister of the State Administration Council, and President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, U Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to Thailand, attended the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok on August 6, local time in the afternoon. The forum was attended by Union Ministers, the Chief Minister of Kayin State, the Chief Minister of Tanintharyi Region, and officials who accompanied the Chairman of the State Administration Council on his trip, as well as Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul and government officials. At the forum, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul delivered a speech, and Chairman of the State Administration Council U Min Aung Hlaing also delivered a speech. Upon the invitation of Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council U Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 6, local time in the morning, for an official visit. During the visit, the Chairman of the State Administration Council met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Thailand, and bilateral talks were also held. In addition, four agreements and Memoranda of Understanding were signed and exchanged between Myanmar and Thailand.
