Vietnam-China Art Programme Celebrates 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, Boosts Cooperation

Tourism is identified as a practical area of cooperation that enhances mutual understanding and friendship between the Vietnamese and Chinese peoples, while also creating development opportunities for localities and businesses. Lang Son and Guangxi, both possessing rich tourism resources spanning culture, history, ecology, and leisure, are looking to connect these into attractive cross-border tourism routes and destinations. Development of caravan tours, cultural and spiritual tourism, and border shopping tourism are also envisioned. Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has urged China to facilitate Vietnamese agricultural exports and deepen cooperation on quarantine. He also called for the early signing of a memorandum of understanding designating Vietnam as the featured country for the "Shared Big Market: Export to China Series Activities" in 2027.
