Vietnam Braces for Heavy Rainfall in Northern and Central Regions, Raising Infrastructure and Livelihood Concerns

Vietnam is bracing for widespread heavy rainfall from August 4th to 6th in the northern and north-central regions, with total precipitation expected to reach 100-200mm, and locally exceeding 300mm. Past localized downpours have caused landslides and floods, raising concerns about infrastructure and public life.
