Phnom Penh Cracks Down on Cyber Scams, 452 Foreigners Found, Some Overstaying Visas

Phnom Penh authorities conducted a sweeping administrative inspection on June 10, targeting 74 suspected locations of cyber fraud. A total of 452 foreigners were identified, with 2 lacking passports and 5 arrested for alleged involvement in online scams. The operation, led by Governor Khuong Sreng, covered all 14 districts of the capital.
