Owner Appeals for Rescue of Dog Missing in Palawan Ferry Fire

A golden retriever is among the passengers missing after a fire broke out aboard the ferry MV June Aster in the waters off Coron town, Palawan, on Wednesday evening. In a Facebook post, Nics Ramos is appealing for his dog “Ali” to be included in the search and rescue operations. “Sana ma-rescue po ang Ali namin na isa sa mga passenger sa nasunog na barko (MV JUNE ASTER). Pls po sana maisama po siya sa rescue kahit hindi na po mabalik sa amin, basta po safe siya. Please po, mabait na baby po namin ito at sumasama talaga sa tao,” Ramos said.
