Boracay Scuba Group, 39 Members Fined P2.17M for Price Fixing
The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) has fined the Boracay Business Administration of Scuba Shops (BBASS) and 39 of its member-shops a total of P2.17 million for organizing a price-fixing cartel on Boracay Island. The PCC ruled that the price-fixing activities violated competition law and harmed the tourism market.
