The company is focusing on the potential of Thailand's Halal market, estimated to be worth approximately 200 billion baht (around 800 billion yen), and plans to expand its range of Halal-certified food products. This initiative is seen as aligning with the Thai government's "Halal Economy" policy. As a specific measure, a "Halal Food Fair 2026" is planned to be held at the Go Wholesale Hat Yai branch in Hat Yai city, Songkhla province, Southern Thailand, on September 25, 2026. The aim of this fair is to increase awareness and consumption of Halal food products. Thailand has a Muslim population of about 10%, and with a significant number of tourists from neighboring Muslim countries like Malaysia and Indonesia, the Halal-related market is expected to see demand from both domestic and international sources.
