Union Minister for Immigration and Population inspects National Registration Card issuance project in Ayeyawaddy Region

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing visited Pathein Township of Ayeyawaddy Region on Tuesday to oversee ministry staff providing services to military personnel and their families under Project La Min. The services included issuing National Registration Cards (NRCs) and collecting biographic and biometric data under the e-ID system to generate unique identification numbers. The Union Minister coordinated with officials to address operational needs, personally handed over the completed NRCs and UID cards to recipients and provided financial assistance and food supplies to the staff. Also, the Union Minister visited Wakema Township to inspect the implementation of Project La Min, where staff were issuing NRCs and capturing UID data for local residents, as well as checking the systematic storage of personal records. After providing financial support and food supplies to the staff, he warmly greeted and encouraged the local populace.
