PAS Band Bassist Trisno to be Buried Sunday Morning in Bandung

Trisno, the bassist for popular Indonesian rock band PAS Band, passed away on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, at 2:47 PM Western Indonesian Time. He had been undergoing intensive treatment at a hospital, according to bandmate Sandy. Sandy stated that Trisno's wake is being held at a family residence on Jalan Laswi, near Jalan BKR, in Bandung. The funeral procession is scheduled to take place on Sunday morning. However, Sandy admitted that information regarding the exact burial site remains uncertain and unconfirmed. He is unsure if the location will be the same as where Trisno's wife is buried. Sandy received the news of his friend's passing while resting after work. He immediately sought information about the wake and funeral arrangements. "And at 2:30 PM on August 1st, I was sleeping because I had just finished working, and I saw it in the Pas Band WhatsApp group," Sandy said. Sandy revealed that the funeral is planned for Sunday morning but he was still uncertain about the specific burial location. "And tomorrow it will be buried in the morning, but I don't know where it will be buried, whether it's the same location as Bengbeng's wife's grave? We don't know," he expressed. Bambang Sutrisno, or Trisno, passed away. He took his last breath at 2:47 PM after a struggle with his illness. "Two weeks ago, the friends of Pas Band received news that Trisno was sick in his boarding room, he said he had a headache," Sandy recounted. Sandy shared that Trisno's health condition had actually started to decline in the last few months. However, the deceased was known as someone who rarely complained about the pain he felt to his friends. "And as usual, he didn't want to get a health check-up, so he felt everything himself. But we were worried because what was causing the headache? Because for the last few months, the deceased had not been as fresh as before," said Sandy.
