BMKG Predicts Localized Rain in Parts of Indonesia Early September

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has predicted the possibility of localized rain in several regions of Indonesia in early September. Factors supporting the formation of rain clouds include the predicted formation of wind deceleration zones or convergence in South Sumatra to Jambi, Central Kalimantan to West Kalimantan, and the Papua highlands. Additionally, wind confluence is expected to form in the waters west and north of Aceh. Furthermore, strong local instability supporting convective processes on a local scale is predicted to be present in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, West Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, and the Papua highlands.
