Thailand Expressway Authority Eyes TFF Fund to Finance Kathu-Patong Expressway Project
The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) is considering establishing a Thailand Future Fund (TFF) to utilize revenue from the Bang Phli-Suksawat expressway. This aims to finance the construction of the Kathu-Patong expressway in Phuket, valued at 16.7 billion baht. Approval from the cabinet is anticipated as early as December, with bidding expected to commence in 2027.
