171 police force members and family donate blood in Mandalay to celebrate 62nd anniversary of Myanmar Police Force

It has been reported that in Mandalay City, 171 police force members and their family members collectively donated blood on September 19 at the hospital to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the Myanmar Police Force. This blood donation event was organized by the Mandalay Region Police Force to honor the 62nd anniversary of the Myanmar Police Force, which falls on October 1, 2026. The event took place at the 9-story building of the Mandalay General Hospital, located between 74th and 77th streets, between 29th and 30th streets, in the Hema Thazin Ward of Chanayethazan Township. The ceremony was attended by ministers from the regional government, the acting commander of the Mandalay Region Police Force, Police Major General Kyaw Soe Win, and his wife, Daw Ei Shwe Sin, as well as officers and other ranks from district and township police forces under the command of the regional police force, and their family members, along with officers and other ranks from detachments. A total of 171 individuals, including 144 police force members and 27 family members, donated blood. Donors were presented with Royal-D, eggs, soy milk, mineral water, iron supplements, and commemorative gifts. Police Major General Kyaw Soe Win, the acting commander of the Mandalay Region Police Force, handed over the blood bags on behalf of the donors, and the hospital superintendent, Dr. San Lwin Oo, received them and presented a letter of appreciation in return.
