Hun Manet's Wife Donates New Homes to Fallen Soldiers' Families

Dr. Pich Chanmony, wife of Prime Minister Hun Manet, on the morning of August 8, 2026, handed over six new houses, a generous gift from the Prime Minister and his wife, to the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the war of national defense in Takeo province. Dr. Pich Chanmony conveyed the deepest condolences and well wishes from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Samdech Kittipreah Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Samdech Mahabovarithipati Hun Manet to the families of the deceased. Furthermore, to facilitate their daily lives, Dr. Pich Chanmony also brought along donations from the Prime Minister and his wife, including cash, household items, food supplies, and other essential materials for the soldiers' families. It is noted that out of consideration for the life circumstances of the fallen soldiers and their families, the Prime Minister has implemented numerous policies and mechanisms to assist these families. These include guidance on livelihood occupations, support for family members, scholarships for children to pursue bachelor's degrees, restructuring of credit, facilitating the transfer of ownership deeds free of charge, and awarding commemorative medals to soldiers who directly fought in the battles for national defense.
