Jakarta Braces for Partly Cloudy Weekend with Scattered Showers, Temperatures Between 26-33°C

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued its weekend weather forecast for DKI Jakarta. Saturday is expected to see cloudy skies in many parts of the capital, with some areas experiencing thick cloud cover. Light showers are anticipated in the afternoon. According to BMKG's official statement, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta are predicted to be cloudy on Saturday morning around 7:00 AM WIB. North Jakarta is forecast to be overcast, while the Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu) may experience thick clouds in the morning. By noon (1:00 PM WIB), West Jakarta and Central Jakarta are expected to remain partly cloudy. Meanwhile, South Jakarta and North Jakarta are predicted to be covered by clouds. In the early afternoon, light rain is possible in East Jakarta and the Thousand Islands. Further into the afternoon, around 4:00 PM WIB, light intensity rain is forecast for West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to remain cloudy. By 7:00 PM WIB, all areas of Jakarta are predicted to return to sunny conditions. The estimated temperature range in DKI Jakarta is between 26 and 33 degrees Celsius. BMKG also stated that wind speeds would range from 2 to 23 kilometers per hour in the local area.
