Mindanao Grid Stable After Magnitude 5 Quake in Davao Occidental

The Mindanao power grid remained intact and stable after a magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck offshore Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Saturday morning, June 27, 2026. The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) reported no damage to transmission facilities. The tremor is considered an aftershock of a larger quake on June 8.
