Cambodia: Farmer Detained for Natural Resource Crimes in Preah Vihear Province
A farmer in Cambodia's northeastern Preah Vihear province has been arrested and detained by the court on suspicion of involvement in forest destruction and illegal natural resource extraction. The provincial prosecutor has charged him with transporting, collecting, and accumulating natural resources without permission, and violating forest laws.
