The Disability Action Council (DAC) of Cambodia and the international NGO 'hope inspirers giving it back to kids' have reached an agreement to strengthen their cooperation, aiming to improve the livelihoods and social participation of people with disabilities in the country. This collaboration will primarily focus on providing wheelchairs. On July 16th, at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation in Phnom Penh, Mr. Met Makara, Secretary of State and Vice Chairman of the DAC, met with Mr. Robert Kalatschan, President of 'hope inspirers giving it back to kids', along with three other representatives from the organization. The meeting's objective was to discuss future collaborative initiatives between the two bodies. As a result of the discussions, both parties agreed to hold further meetings and to move towards signing an agreement to implement a joint action plan. This initiative seeks to enhance the living standards and promote broader societal involvement for individuals with disabilities in Cambodia.
