A woman's body was found with injuries in the Pu Lay housing estate in Pu Lay Ward (1), Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region, on the morning of July 6, according to the Pu Lay Reserve Fire Brigade. A person collecting water bottles near a garbage dump within the housing estate discovered the body around 8:30 AM on July 6 and subsequently informed the housing estate's security team and the relevant police force. "The deceased woman is estimated to be around 30 years old. Upon examination of the body, clear marks indicating strangulation with a rope were found on her neck. Additionally, tattoos were observed on the woman's hands and back," a responsible person from the Pu Lay Reserve Fire Brigade told the Ayeyarwaddy Times. The Pu Lay Reserve Fire Brigade, along with the relevant police force's medical request, transported the body to Maydawi Hospital in North Okkalapa Township. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed, and contact with her family has not been established.
