Hanoi Offers Free Buses for a Year as it Launches First Low-Emission Zone

Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, is launching its first low-emission zone (LEZ) to combat air pollution. From July 2026, public bus services within the zone will be free for one year, encouraging residents to shift to public transport. Traffic restrictions on certain vehicles will also be implemented.
