Revolutionary forces' unity is essential, meeting with SCEF based on this: PNFC Chairman Khun Myint Htun

It has been learned from the Pa-O National Federal Council (PNFC) that the meeting with the Federal Democratic Union Council (SCEF) was held on the basis of unity among the forces resisting the military coup, in order to continue cooperation and achieve the goals of the Spring Revolution. Regarding the current political landscape and the need for future political processes, the PNFC, along with the Pa-O National Liberation Organization/Pa-O National Liberation Army (PNLO/PNLA), held a meeting with the SCEF on July 22 and engaged in consultations, according to an SCEF statement. "The mandate of the revolution today is the principle that unity is essential; the revolution can only succeed if the revolutionary forces are united. We held discussions based on that principle. We discussed continuing to cooperate and work together as our forces," said Khun Myint Htun, Chairman of the PNFC, to the Irrawaddy Times. Furthermore, Khun Myint Htun informed that discussions and coordination will continue among revolutionary forces, including Pa-O organizations, to implement the Spring Revolution's decision by the people to end the military dictatorship and build a federal democratic union. It is reported that at the meeting, Duwa La Shi La, a member of the SCEF's Strategic and Policy Steering Committee and Interim President of the National Unity Government (NUG), and Khun Myint Htun, Chairman of the PNFC, delivered opening remarks, and open and sincere consultations were held among the attending leaders to set future work plans. Additionally, according to the SCEF statement, Brigadier General Khun Thuriya, Chairman of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization (PNLO), and U Aung Kyi Nyunt, Chairman of the Committee Representing the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and a member of the SCEF's Strategic and Policy Steering Committee, delivered concluding remarks after the discussions, bringing the meeting to a close. The SCEF, which is composed of the KACHIN Independence Organization (KIO), the Karen National Union (KNU), the Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP), and the Chin National Front (CNF), which form the "K3C" alliance with strong resistance, has also met with the Rakhine National Organization/Arakan Army (ULA/AA). Similarly, it has been learned that discussions have been held with the Spring Revolution Allied Forces (SRA), the Sagaing and Magway Federal Units, government and parliamentary bodies from the Mandalay region, the Mon New State Party (NMSP-AD for the fight against military dictatorship), the Mon State Federal Council (MSFC), the Mon State Advisory Council (MSCC), and the Committee Representing the Mon State Hluttaw (CRMH), among others. The SCEF, which adheres to the "Shared Sovereignty Principle" that the people within the states/federal units own the sovereign power of Myanmar, has been in continuous contact with revolutionary forces since its formation and is striving to obtain assistance from the international community.
