Abalos extends condolences, aid to slain rider's family
Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. visited the wake of motorcycle rider Fabio Norberte Jr., who was fatally stabbed by a passenger in Caloocan City. Abalos conveyed President Marcos Jr.'s condolences and provided financial aid, vowing justice for the victim and support for his family.
Cabinet Secretary Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr. visited the wake of slain motorcycle rider Fabio Norberte Jr. on Friday and extended the condolences of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Abalos gave the victim's family financial assistance as he assured them of the government's support. Norberte around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, dropped off a passenger at Kaunlaran Village, Barangay 20, Caloocan City. But the passenger then stabbed the 46-year-old victim on his side and immediately fled with the victim’s motorcycle. He was was rushed to the hospital but eventually died. Abalos told the family that the suspect in the killing of Norberte will be brought to justice. He assured the family of support particularly to the motorcycle rider's child, who has autism, and coordination with the government agencies. — BAP, GMA News
