Rosa, Laguna, resulting in the arrest of two men, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said on Friday. In a statement, the NBI said the poultry products, seized last Tuesday, totaled 2,515.72 kilograms. The products were reported to have undergone processing that did not meet standards set by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS). The arrested poultry operators have already been processed and undergone inquest proceedings for supposedly violating the Meat Inspection Code of the Philippines.
