MDY-PD Special Operation Unit Completes 4-Month Reorganization Training, Announces Full-Scale Operations with Allied Forces

Yangon, July 7 The Special Operation Unit of the People's Defence Force-Mandalay (MDY-PDF) announced today that it has successfully completed its reorganization training and military and political capacity enhancement programs, which were conducted on a full-unit scale over a period of four months. During this four-month period, the Special Operation Unit was able to successfully hold two rounds of reorganization training courses, as well as other capacity enhancement training, and has fully completed the necessary preparations for future revolutionary activities, it is understood. Although operations could only be carried out to a limited extent during the previous reorganization training period, the statement indicated that with the completion of preparations, operations will be fully carried out with momentum in conjunction with allied revolutionary forces. Furthermore, the People's Defence Force-Mandalay Special Operation Unit announced that it will continue to fight alongside allied revolutionary forces to eradicate the military dictatorship and achieve federal democracy.
