Hue Welcomes Over 650,000 Tourists During National Day Holiday

The imperial city of Hue experienced a significant boom in tourism during the five-day National Day holiday, which ran from August 29 to September 2. The city welcomed over 650,000 tourist arrivals, marking a substantial increase of more than 230% compared to the same period last year. This surge in visitors underscores the robust recovery of Vietnam's domestic tourism sector as the country continues its economic rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic. Tourism service revenue also saw a remarkable jump, exceeding 1.5 trillion VND (approximately 57 million USD), which is an increase of over 380% year-on-year.
