President Prabowo to Inaugurate TNI-Polri Cadets at Palace Tomorrow Morning

President Prabowo Subianto will lead the inauguration ceremony for Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) cadets, known as Prasetya Perwira TNI-Polri 2026, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 21st, at 8 AM. This was announced by Minister of State Secretary Prasetio Hadi at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Tuesday, July 20th. Prasetio stated that the total number of cadets to be inaugurated this year is estimated to be around 1,500. However, he noted that the precise number is not yet confirmed due to potential changes in the number of participants. "Tomorrow, according to the agenda, the President will lead the Prasetya Perwira TNI and Polri ceremony at the Merdeka Palace at 8:00 AM," Prasetio Hadi said. He added, "Because there are changes, we will check. It's around 1,500 if we are not mistaken, but we will try to recheck because there are additions to the number of participants or cadets." Last year, on July 23, 2025, Prabowo also led the Prasetya Perwira TNI-Polri ceremony held in front of the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. At that time, Prabowo inaugurated approximately 2,000 cadet officers. The Praspa TNI-Polri graduates included 827 from the Military Academy, 433 from the Naval Academy, 293 from the Air Force Academy, and 447 from the Police Academy. Last year, Prabowo acted as the Inspector of the Ceremony. The series of activities began with a report from the Ceremony Officer, Brig. Gen. TNI Arynovian, before the President proceeded to the podium to lead the inauguration procession. At that time, Prabowo advised the newly inaugurated TNI-Polri cadet officers to always be soldiers and police for the people. He asked the cadets who had just been appointed as officers to always defend the interests of the people. "Be soldiers of the people, national soldiers, fighting soldiers. Be police of the people, national police, fighting police, always defend your people, always love your people, you are the children of the Indonesian people," Prabowo said when delivering his mandate as Inspector of the Praspa Ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
