Military drops bombs on Kyauk Taw and Mrauk U with fighter jet groups

It is known that the provisional government army dropped a large number of bombs on villages in Kyauk Taw and Mrauk U townships in Rakhine State using fighter jet groups and Y-12 aircraft. Starting from around 2 PM today, July 20, dozens of bombs were dropped and attacks were carried out for about an hour on the vicinity of the Zee Chaung Dam in Kyauk Taw Township and near Kyauk Sein and Kyauk Chap villages in Mrauk U, according to local sources. The provisional government army conducted the attack by dropping about 50 bombs with three fighter jets and one Y-12 aircraft, and it was also notified from the air via air warnings that this group of aircraft took off from Taungoo and Naypyidaw air bases. "As soon as the planes started circling, all the locals hid. We didn't know where they would drop them, but there was an air warning. Many have died. We don't know how much damage was caused by this bombing yet," a source told the Irrawaddy Times. The military has been conducting bombing attacks on areas controlled by the Arakan Army (AA) almost daily, and even on Independence Day yesterday, it bombed three towns in Rakhine State.
