MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police has reassigned six PNP brigadier generals to different units and regional offices. In a memorandum issued by PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on Sept. 4, Brig. Gen. Roman Cornel Arugay was reassigned to the National Capital Region Police Office. Acting Eastern Police District director Brig. Gen. Melecio Buslig Jr. and Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco were both reassigned to the Civil Security Group (CSG). Brig. Gen. Jason Lawas Capoy was transferred from the Police Regional Office 8 to the Office of the Chief PNP. Brig. Gen. Romano Velayo Cardiño was relieved from the PRO-Negros Island Region and reassigned to PRO 8. Brig. Gen. Rudecindo Licup Reales was reassigned to PRO-Negros Island Region from the CSG. The reassignments will take effect today.
