Assistance Provision : Kachin State CM Provides Food and Cash Assistance

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan provided rice and cash assistance to families temporarily residing at the Wan Jar DP camp in the Namti region of Mogaung Township on August 3 who had relocated due to the security situation in villages within Hpakant Township. During the visit, he stated the need for collective efforts in the peace process. Afterward, the Chief Minister met with the village administrator, community elders, and literature and cultural associations in Shaduzup Village, Hpakant Township, and provided cash and food aid. Furthermore, when a member of the village administration expressed gratitude and presented the requirements for village development, the Chief Minister coordinated with relevant departmental officials to fulfill these needs through the Rural Development Fund Project. In Nan Hpyek Yan Village, Tanai Township, the Chief Minister also provided cash and food aid, urging everyone to work together to ensure local food security.
