Vietnam consistently values its traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership with Chile. Economic relations between the two countries have developed significantly in recent years, with business cooperation in the industrial electricity and energy equipment sectors being particularly noteworthy. The Chilean Embassy is continuously discussing measures to strengthen cooperation between the two nations with the Vietnamese side. This includes promoting exchanges between the parliaments of both countries, aiming to deepen relations from both political and economic perspectives. Ambassador Prado also highlighted the importance of cultural exchange, expressing hope for further dissemination of Chilean culture in Vietnam.
