Traffic Police Chief Appointed Deputy Director of Dong Nai Police

Colonel Tran Trong Thuy, 50, who previously led the Traffic Police (CSGT) in Dong Nai province, has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police. The decision was announced on the afternoon of July 24 by Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police, acting under the authorization of the Minister of Public Security. Colonel Thuy, originally from Hai Phong, has served many years within the traffic police force. Following his appointment as Deputy Director, he has also been temporarily assigned to the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Transport Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management, effective July 24, to fulfill tasks as required by the project. This assignment indicates an expectation of his contributions to crucial national infrastructure development initiatives. Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, praised the new Deputy Director as a "cadre who has received thorough training, grown from practical experience, and possesses many years of service in the traffic police force." He further stated that the appointment and task delegation for Colonel Thuy recognize his dedication, contributions, and efforts in ensuring security and order. In addition to Colonel Tran Trong Thuy, the Dong Nai Provincial Police currently has seven other Deputy Directors: Colonel Tran Anh Son, Colonel Duong Van Manh, Colonel Lam Van Long, Colonel Nguyen Phuong Dang, Colonel Nguyen Huy Hai, Colonel Nguyen Anh Hung, and Colonel Nguyen Chi Toan.
