Duterte impeachment: Prosecutors agree to alternate evidence presentation

MANILA, Philippines — The prosecution team has agreed with the proposed alternate presentation of evidence per article in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte to ensure a “more orderly, efficient, and focused” conduct of the proceedings. They informed the Senate impeachment court of their position through a three-page manifestation dated July 27, 2026. This change will allow evidence related to each impeachment article to be deliberated individually and with greater concentration.
