EU Launches EUR3.5m Project to Strengthen Labour Rights for 32,000 Workers in Laos

The European Union (EU) has launched a five-year initiative, 'SOLAR II', aimed at improving labour rights, social protection, and working conditions for approximately 32,000 workers in Laos' coffee, tea, and forestry sectors. Funded by the EU with a budget of EUR3.5 million, the project will be led by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
