Cumulonimbus clouds forming across Myanmar, potential for unusual weather phenomena

Currently, cumulonimbus clouds are forming across Myanmar, and according to a statement released by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology at 4:00 PM on August 8th, unusual weather phenomena including heavy rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms may occur along the paths of these cumulonimbus clouds. It has been announced that cumulonimbus clouds are forming in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon Region, Mandalay Region, Bago Region, Magway Region, Sagaing Region, Ayeyarwady Region, Tanintharyi Region, Kachin State, Kayah State, Kayin State, Chin State, Mon State, Rakhine State, and Shan State. Due to the possibility of weather phenomena such as heavy rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, lightning, and hail occurring along the paths of these cumulonimbus clouds, a prior warning has been issued. Furthermore, in a statement released until the morning of August 9th, it is stated that thunderstorms may occur sparsely in Magway Region, densely in Mandalay Region, Kachin State, and Chin State, and widely in other regions and states. Additionally, it has been announced that localized heavy rainfall may occur in Yangon Region, Mandalay Region, lower Sagaing Region, Bago Region, Ayeyarwady Region, Tanintharyi Region, Kayin State, Mon State, Rakhine State, and northern Shan State.
