DoJ Clarifies Plunder Law Extends Beyond Public Funds

The Philippine Department of Justice clarified that plunder charges are not limited to acts involving public funds, but can apply to public officers amassing at least P50 million in ill-gotten wealth linked to their position. Private individuals can also be charged as co-conspirators.
