Former Health Minister Appeals for Suspended Sentence, Reduced Compensation

Former Vietnamese Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien has appealed her six-year prison sentence and an order to pay VND108 billion in compensation for corruption in two hospital construction projects. Other defendants have also appealed for lighter sentences and reduced compensation.
