This grant aid for the second phase of the 'Peace Village' construction project will continue to support village development activities. It aims to promote rural community development, enhance leadership, increase participation and ownership, and strengthen capacity in discussions to effectively identify issues, needs, and priorities for their respective village development plans. The 'Peace Village' construction project, in its first and second phases, is developing a total of 30 villages in three target provinces: Battambang, Pailin, and Banteay Meanchey. The goal is to transform the northwestern region of Cambodia, an area historically affected by conflict and landmines, into a land of sustainable peace and prosperity.
