Indonesia Welcomes Malaysian Aid for Kalimantan Forest Fires

Indonesia has announced its acceptance of aid from Malaysia to help extinguish the forest fires that have intensified in Kalimantan (Borneo). Malaysia has offered assistance, including personnel, equipment, and aerial water-bombing, which Indonesia has agreed to accept. The Indonesian government stated that it is investigating the causes of the fires and strengthening preventive measures against recurrence.
