Cambodian Ambassador Meets with Korean Association in Korea to Discuss Economic Cooperation and Investment Promotion

On the afternoon of August 4, 2026, at the Cambodian Embassy in Seoul, His Excellency Khoun Phonrathanak, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, held a working meeting with Ms. Lee Hyun-ju, Vice President of the Korean Association in Cambodia, Mr. Lee Chang-hoon, Executive Director of Insan Coporation, and Mr. Alex C. Kim, Chief Operations Officer of Blue Earth Systems. On behalf of the Korean Association in Cambodia, Ms. Lee Hyun-Ju invited His Excellency the Ambassador to attend the 30th-anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Korean Association in Cambodia, scheduled to take place at the end of August. Ms. Lee stated that the 30th-anniversary event of the Korean Association in Cambodia plans to invite high-ranking officials from the governments of Cambodia and Korea, and will also feature a business forum with the participation of approximately 50 Korean companies. She expressed hope that this event will serve as a new platform for Korean investors to find partners and create investment opportunities in Cambodia. In response, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the invitation to the 30th-anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Korean Association in Cambodia. His Excellency stated that the Korean Association in Cambodia has played a significant role in maintaining bilateral relations between Cambodia and Korea. His Excellency added that the embassy is pleased to provide cooperation and facilitation for all investment projects that contribute to the economic development of Cambodia.
