Job Opportunity: Multilingual Translation Project Coordinator in Tokyo

MHT Corporation, a language services company based in Tokyo, is seeking a Multilingual Translation Project Coordinator. This role will be responsible for managing translation projects involving languages outside of MHT’s core business. The successful candidate will coordinate with translators and other language professionals, overseeing projects from initial assignment through to delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-schedule completion. This is a part-time or contract position based in Japan. Hours are flexible, but a significant weekly commitment is required. Remote work is possible, but after an initial training period, the candidate will typically be expected to work from MHT’s Tokyo office approximately two days per week, requiring the ability to travel regularly to central Tokyo. MHT uses its own browser-based translation management system, and while full training will be provided, candidates should be comfortable learning unfamiliar software and adapting to new working methods. For part-time arrangements, the pay is 1800 yen per hour, with social insurance, employment insurance, and paid leave.
