The AFP did not disclose the suspect's identity, her specific role, or the name of the airline she worked for. She has been officially charged with importing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug, as well as possessing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug. According to authorities, each charge carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison. The woman appeared in court last Friday and was remanded in custody. She is scheduled to return to the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Sept. 14.
