Lao Cai Border Region: Mid-Autumn Festival Gifts for Border Children

In Trịnh Tường commune, Lào Cai province, northern Vietnam, the atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival was vibrant for students on the evening of September 17. This was part of the "Border - Moon Festival" program, jointly organized by the Trịnh Tường Border Guard Station (under the Lào Cai Provincial Border Guard) in coordination with the Trịnh Tường Commune People's Committee and SOTA Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company. Under this program, approximately 1,000 mooncakes (Mid-Autumn Festival treats) and gifts were presented to students of the Cốc Mỳ Primary and Secondary Ethnic Boarding School. The border guard force continuously implements such activities to contribute to the development of the local community and the improvement of educational opportunities for children. Under Vietnam's one-party system, the government prioritizes social stability and development. Support for border regions and areas with significant ethnic minority populations is considered a crucial part of national policy to maintain unity and progress.
