Hem Kiri, Secretary General of the federation, emphasized during the closing ceremony that this training addresses current shortcomings in coaching methods, many of which have not yet met sufficient standards or received official recognition from the federation. The course aimed to equip participants with fundamental swimming instruction methodologies, pedagogical approaches for coaches, and the rules and norms applicable to basic-level swimming instruction. Mr. Kiri noted that the turnout of 49 participants exceeded initial expectations. Attendees hailed from key provinces such as Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang, and Kampong Speu, as well as from international schools in Phnom Penh. Participants received certificates valid for two years, with the expectation that they will continue their coaching roles within their respective institutions.
