Myanmar people in Ireland and Australia hold pre-8888 uprising activities

Myanmar people in Ireland and Australia have conducted pre-8888 uprising activities in commemoration of the 38th anniversary of the 8888 democracy uprising, Yangon People’s Strike announced today (August 4). It was reported that the 8888 umbrella protest was carried out at Kilkenny Castle and other locations in Kilkenny, Ireland, and a similar umbrella protest was conducted during a pre-8888 anniversary event in Sydney, Australia. In addition, it was learned that the 8888 Generation Power Group led a commemoration event for the 38th anniversary of the 8888 uprising in Perth, Australia.
