MRF and DENKO sign MoA for fuel in agricultural sector

It has been learned from the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) that a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between 41 member companies of the Myanmar Rice Federation and DENKO Trading Co., Ltd. to jointly coordinate and fulfill the fuel requirements in the agricultural sector. The MoA signing ceremony for jointly coordinating and fulfilling the fuel needs of the agricultural sector, along with the business coordination meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Rice Federation, was held in the first week of September at the Mingalar Hall of the Union of Myanmar Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI). It was stated that DENKO Trading Co., Ltd. will facilitate the prompt and easy supply of fuel for agricultural machinery such as transplanters, tractors, harvesters, and water pumps used in rice cultivation, as well as for agricultural vehicles, should the need arise. Furthermore, the MoA was signed to review the fuel requirements for generators in rice mills, drying facilities, and other industrial production businesses based on rice and paddy, and to supply an appropriate amount in a timely manner. Additionally, it was learned that both parties agreed to review and supply an appropriate amount of fuel (diesel) for companies exporting rice, warehouses, and companies distributing and selling rice. During the business coordination meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Rice Federation, DENKO Trading Co., Ltd. donated 5 million kyats for use in the development activities of the rice sector by the Myanmar Rice Federation. The federation stated that it will strive to cooperate in seed and other rehabilitation activities by supplementing the 25 million kyats donated to the government.
